Biography
I am an independent choreographer and performer and my projects have included site-specific investigations, screen dance, digital outcomes, black box works, and installation. I have a practice-led PhD (investigating improvisation, memory, documentation and liveness) and am currently the Research Fellow at the Univeristy of Northampton. My most recent performance−installation—developed in collaboration with David Corbet, Shannon Bott, Scott Mitchell and Cormac Lally—Inert, was nominated for an Australian Dance Award for “Outstanding achievement in independent dance”. Most recently my solo work Gertrud was commissioned for the Place Prize and will premiere at The Place in London in September 2008.
